Make a difference to children and families in Siem Reap through your passion for teaching. Combine your TEFL course with a practical teaching component in the form of volunteering for REACH Siem Reap, a local organization catering to the city’s urban slums.
SLS offers a four-week, 120-hour In-Class TEFL course in Pattaya, Thailand. You will attend four 1.5-hour sessions (6 hours per day) for five days a week. The in-class TEFL course of 4 weeks has 6 hours of practical training in Pattaya before the volunteer placement at REACH Siem Reap.
At REACH Siem Reap, Cambodia you will take on the role of a teaching assistant to local Khmer teachers, helping them deliver English and Math classes. Children at the REACH are between 5 and 18 years old. The administration of REACH will try to accommodate your preferred age group.
The SLS TEFL Course is open to students with the following qualifications:
Proficiency to good knowledge of English
18 years and older
No criminal record or a legal case under Thai law
